  1. does anyone know the story behind these "trote" and "no passor vestibular" haircut videos?

    i don't speak the language and don't know the culture, so if someone can enlighten me, please do!

    i'm not sure about what video you called "no passor vestibular", but i guess "trote" is a word in portuguese for prank, or trick, or, more specifficaly in this case, fraternity's hazes.
    it's a common practice in Brazil, Argentina (though they speak spanish), and other countries. it usually happens when a boy is aproved in the college admission exames (vestibular is the name of these exames in portuguese).
    so, as a supposed joke, the sophomore students cut the freshman's hair. but this practice is illegal on the universities, and the ones who do it can be arrested. but, as long as it's a cultural practice, they find a way to continue the tradition. nowadays the own freshman's friends, and even family, shave his head.
    there's a lot of freshmen's haircut here, and you can watch them by clicking in the tag "freshman".
